For some, Christmas releases can't start early enough and we at the CAGG headquarters can only encourage that. But only one can be the first, so the award for First Xmas Track Of The Year goes to ... *drumroll* ... Fictional Colours with their release of 'On a Yuletide High' on January 04 of this year!
And it's such a great lo-fi indie Christmas track with sleigh bells, cowbells, the whole shebang, that it would really be a shame not to share it with you on our blog.
I think they already saw the award coming, because on their bandcamp they asked themselves the question "What kind of a band releases a Christmas song in January? This one!"
