Leave it to Christmas Underground to dive up the real pearls of alt. Christmas music. Read his raving review of Wake Up And Smell the Sun, who released one DAMN fine Christmas album. While CU hears references to Verve and Spiritualized, to me there's a huge Tom Petty vibe going on too. Which is nice. What's more, the songwriting is just excellent. Might we call the Best Chrismtas Album of 2020 yet?
