We all know this song: 'Merry Xmas Everybody' by Slade. In 1973 alone it sold over a million copies. Although it's a relatively young song it's a real classic, especially in the UK. Former Slade drummer Don Powell (age 73) has written a nice song about the impact of 'Merry Xmas..'.He recorded it with his band full of rock veterans: Don Powell's Occasional Flames. And what a crazy rocking seventies song, about Slade singer Noddy Holder, it turned out to be: 'It Isn't Really Christmas Until Noddy Starts To Sing'
