Pylon were an American band with students from the University of Georgia in Athens. Between 1978 and 1983 they made a sort of danceable guitar based new wave. Nowadays their music revives with the Pylon Reenactment Society, a project from former Pylon singer Vanessa Briscoe Hay. It's a Pylon tribute band. In february 2024 they will release their first album. But first of all they release a festive track with a steady danceable new wave tempo and Xmas bells.
