Joyeux Noël, Bon Chrismeusse

Tipped off by our resident elf Guuzbourg, I also want you to savour these mmm good Cajun Christmas covers, on an EP entitled Joyeux Noël, Bon Chrismeusse featuring six Noël classics in Louisiana French.

You all know 'I'll Be Home for Christmas', which takes on a whole new meaning this year; you can now hum along to 'Je reviens chez nous pour Chrismeusse' instead. 'Joyeux Noël, catin' (catin, a common Louisiana word of affection for doll or baby) is the slow burn song we all need right now, along with that 10 hour video of a crackling fireplace some of you have on.

The last of the six songs was a nice surprise and I'm not going to ruin it for you!

Laissez la musique de Nöel rouler !
